About Jessica S. McClure

Jessica S. McClure is a former chemist and compliance attorney who lives in Lincoln, Nebraska, with her husband and daughter. As a lifelong reader and writer, she recently took the leap into fiction writing, pursuing her passion for storytelling after years in the corporate world.

In her ideal life, Jessica would spend her days traveling the world, writing novels in quiet cafés, mountain cabins, and seaside towns. She is a devoted fan of horror in both film and literature, drawn to stories that explore the darker corners of the human experience.

Her writing is reflective, emotional, and deeply character-driven, often examining the complexities of the human condition and the ways mental health shapes our lives, choices, and relationships.

I Would Do It All Again

Book Description

Stephanie’s life looks fine from the outside. Inside, it’s quietly falling apart. Her job is dull, her husband has drifted into the background, and her teenage daughter is convinced she’s hopelessly uncool. For years, Stephanie has lived for everyone else until one day, she decides she’s had enough.

Determined to reclaim her life, she begins saying yes to new experiences, new friendships, and the happiness she’s long denied herself. When she and her daughter, Chloe, finally take a bucket-list trip to Iceland they’ve always dreamed about, it feels like the beginning of something beautiful.

But strange moments shadow her journey.  Small, unsettling occurrences leave Stephanie questioning her decisions and the fragile future she’s trying to build.

Tender, reflective, and quietly haunting, I Would Do It All Again explores the fear of aging, the weight of regret, and the love between a mother and daughter. As time slips forward, Stephanie must face the question she’s been avoiding her entire life:

Will she finally live without regret… or is it already too late?
